DiFi Production Manual

Welcome to Di Fi Production Manual.  Di Fi is short for Digital Field, which pertains to video production in the field of news gathering.  I created the manual as a way for those interested in video production to acquire knowledge and training of pre-production, production, and post-production methods.  The DiFi Production Manual is also a blog, in which people can share and develop techniques for video capture and editing for news.

 

How DiFi Manual Works

There will be various steps and explanations, which will guide you through the process of making a video package.  Once the lessons have been reviewed, take the DiFi Manual quiz.  The quiz will make sure you have a grasp of the basic functions and steps of video production.  Afterward, complete the exercises which are displayed in the links labeled exercise on the blogroll.

The outcome of all the exercises should result in a 5 minute video package.
